This was a fun challenge. I was given work day to complete a poster. I think it came out great. I love the gritty look of pencil with the bright comedic colors.
This is a design I developed for a University Forum on World Poverty. It took a few revisions for me to make it less cute. I guess there isn't really anything cute about World Poverty.
Here is the final product! Look at all these critters trying to get the girls. I can't help but believe that playing in a band is an animal courting ritual!

I created this illustration and poem for my father as a tribute to my Grandma Virginia Beynon who passed away this year. I miss her a lot, but I'm so happy she is with her husband and daughter now, outside the confines of this coop we all live in.
